Your skin doesn’t need a lot of complicated formulas or regimes to stay clean and healthy. In fact, most of the habits we’ve all learned from the modern-day skincare industry are probably hurting skin more than helping it.
Awaken products take skincare back to the basics - using all and only what your skin needs to stay clean, balanced, hydrated, and able to heal and replenish itself, the way skin is designed to do.

The best things in life happen when passion meets necessity.
In my early 20s, I battled a serious chronic illness that put my life on hold for over 6 years. The disease caused massive toxin buildup throughout my body but especially in my skin, resulting in terrible acne, rashes, and bumps and very painful reactions to most mainstream skincare products.
Armed initially with nothing but determination, creative intuition, and all the information the internet could provide, I began creating my own skincare products to help purify, detoxify, and moisturize my skin without the harsh chemicals and toxic ingredients typically found in even the most “natural” skincare on the market at the time.
Eventually, my illness went into remission, through the combined efforts some great naturopathically-minded doctors and my own intentional healthy choices, like my skincare products. So, I spent the next decade researching skincare and perfecting my recipes in hopes that these products might help others heal the way they helped me.
In 2016 I founded “Natural Pores,” and in 2018 we rebranded to create “Awaken Natural Skincare” - a small, privately-owned company dedicated to providing health-focused skincare options for people everywhere!
